In May of 2024, Oskar and Suzanne did a live discussion about their story. Not only did this Holocaust survivor and Nazi descendant explore the intersection of their histories, they took questions from a standing room only audience. Of the 300+ people in attendance, half were first-timers at the museum, showing a high interest in the story and its subjects.

For many years, Oskar did not speak about his Holocaust experience. But after agreeing to speak at his granddaughter's school, he did not stop. At 95, he has spoken to hundreds of students, educators, politicians, and congregants, believing that it is his responsibility to do everything he can to ensure the story of the Holocaust does not disappear with the last of its survivors.
